About Medicare Advantage
Want to Know More About Medicare Advantage?
A Medicare Advantage plan, also called Part C, is an all-in-one plan that combines Parts A, B and usually D to give you more health care options. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services is a federal agency that provides Parts A and B, or Original Medicare.
Original Medicare covers hospital stays, doctor visits and preventive health care such as screenings and vaccinations. But many people instead opt for a Medicare Advantage plan, because it adds dental, vision and hearing services, and typically prescription drug coverage too.
Most Medicare Advantage plans, including Healthy Blue Dual Advantage, also have added benefits like the SilverSneakers® fitness program, health-related transportation, spending money for over-the-counter items and more.

Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs)?
Do you have both Medicare and Medicaid? This means you qualify for a D-SNP, which is a Medicare Advantage plan where you pay no premiums, and also get many extra benefits.
For example, after a hospital stay, the Healthy Blue Dual Advantage plan provides two meals daily for 10 days. That's just one of many extras you'll receive with this plan.
